Warp, Weft, and Way

A Group Blog of Chinese and Comparative Philosophy

Report from Hong Kong

I’m just about to leave Hong Kong, where for the past two days we’ve been celebrating Chad Hansen and his work–he’s had to retire from HKU because of its mandatory retirement policy. What a great conference, organized by Chris Fraser, Timothy O’Leary, and Dan Robins! And what a great bunch of people there were, especially all his colleagues and students that I met in the HKU Philosophy Department!

(At some point this summer, Chad will be guest-blogging; that should be quite a treat. Keep an eye out for other guest-bloggers this summer as well.)

We’ll start doing more philosophy here in a couple of days after I get back to the States…I promise.
